We were admonished to not sketch on the Sabbath, here. I am so sorry - I really do want to honor this important commandment - but I could not help myself. I secretly drew these sublime architectural sequences we passed through, led by a monk. It is still one of my favorite “experiential” drawings.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI made the ink drawings as an undergraduate architecture student on travel study abroad with the College of Architecture and Urban Studies at Virginia Tech in 1998.
