CHARLESTON, South Carolina is the epitome of Southern Coastal culture, as founded and influenced by its British origins. This historic city was founded in 1670 and its defensive fortress was located where the Battery stands today. The homes of "genteel" planters eventually lined the Battery. A dark history of slavery underlies the city's magnificent architecture. Today, it is consistently a top tourism destination for its gourmet food, beautifully manicured, walkable historic neighborhoods and coastal breezes.

If you'd prefer a square print, just purchase the size that matches the width you'd like, leave a note at checkout to make it square and I will make it square!
