A few bold strokes of watercolor, revealing and imprinting the texture of the brush. The thin parallel stitched lines respond to the paint, building shapes between the paint marks and the paper’s edges. Striving for Balance. Working Toward Peace.
This piece belongs to my first series of "How Do We Get to Peace?" - a four part Series. Each of the first three pieces builds toward the final piece, a Peace Sign.
12” x 12” Lightly Textured Watercolor Paper
12 1/2” x 12 1/2” Frame. Black plastic frame, glass face.
Artwork is "float-framed", mounted onto matboard so the edges of the watercolor paper show just inside the inner edge of the frame.
