The image of the Crescent City is captured in my watercolor city blocks map of The Big Easy. I love how the grid is splayed out upon that beautiful "crescent" of the Mississippi River, comprising the Garden District. St. Charles, Tulane, Audubon, the French Quarter, the City Park and Museum of Art, Metairie Cemetery, Algiers are all included within the map. New Orleans is truly one of the great city plans of the world!
