DETROIT Pride Rainbow Watercolor Map: PRINT

DETROIT MICHIGAN.

Motor City and glorious Gallery of Beaux Arts architecture and City Beautiful planning in the early twentieth century, vacant and derelict in the late twentieth century, gearing up for a Renaissance in the twenty-first century. The city's architectural stock may be a shadow of its former glory now, but its plan still recalls designers' classicism in its downtown core as well as endless gridiron blocks fuelled by the auto industry's growth. With the Detroit River and Belle Isle along the bottom of the map and a bit of Windsor, Canada, Detroit is gorgeous in watercolor blocks.

This is a PRINT. My hand-drawn map lines are turned white over my watercolor wash, a layering of many hand-painted rainbows.

Epson archival coated paper / Epson Professional high-quality inkjet printer / Archival inks

8" x 10", 11" x 14" and 16" x 20" are the best print sizes to purchase if you'd like to find a frame "off the shelf" instead of custom framing. Prints have a border so no mat is required - just pop it in the frame of the same size and hang!

If you'd prefer a square print, just purchase the size that matches the width you'd like, leave a note at checkout to make it square and I will make it square! If my print widths available in menu do not match your preference, send me a note with an alternate size. I can print from 5" x 5" to 17" x 17" - Thanks!
