SPOKANE, Washington.

From a military fort to a trading and transport center during mining rushes, Spokane boomed in the late 1800s / early 1900s and now is known for its setting within beautiful landscapes and interesting topography, a National Register-recognized collection of architecture from the late 1800 / 1900s, such as the mansions of Browne's Addition, the Northwest Museum of Fine Arts and the home of Gonzaga University.

The map-drawing centers on Downtown, Browne's Addition, High Bridge Park, Riverside as well as Gonzaga University rendered in the darkest tone of navy blue. The map area includes Northwest and Audubon, Downriver Golf Course as well as Hillyard to the north and extends south to Southgate/Moran Prairie. The Spokane River forms the western boundary, with Riverside State Park and Indian Canyon Park, as well as the many golf courses along the river.

This is a PRINT. My hand-drawn map lines are turned white over my watercolor wash, a layering of many hand-painted rainbows.

8" x 10", 11" x 14" and 16" x 20" are the best print sizes to purchase if you'd like to find a frame "off the shelf" instead of custom framing. Prints have a border so no mat is required - just pop it in the frame of the same size and hang!

If you'd prefer a square print, just purchase the size that matches the width you'd like, leave a note at checkout to make it square and I will make it square! If my print widths available in menu do not match your preference, send me a note with an alternate size. I can print from 5" x 5" to 17" x 17" - Thanks!
