At the southern end of Lake Cayuga, the city of Ithaca is laid out in an urban grid nestled between and above the gorges that cut through the city. Likewise, the paths and buildings that comprise the campus of Cornell University find spaces among the gorges. The juxtaposition of order and architecture with the dramatic landscape topography make for a dynamic experience of the city!
This is a PRINT of my original black ink line drawing featuring the topography, trails and campus paths - in addition to the shorelines and roads.
