The hand-painted cursive TACOMA title hovers above my hand-drawn map of the city with sketches of some of T-town's icons or "charms" scattered around, roughly in the area where they exist in real life!
Tacoma "charms" include: The Mountain (TAHOMA) that looms over us, Point Defiance-Tahlequah Vashon ferry, Salmon Beach cottages, Proctor clock, Murray Morgan 11th Street Bridge, Wright Park W.W. Seymour Conservatory, Old City Hall, former Union Station, Museum of Glass and bridge, spuyaləpabš/Welcome Figure carved by Qwalsius (Shaun Peterson), Tacoma Dome, Charlotte's Blueberry Park, a fern to signify Snake Lake and Tacoma Nature Center, John James Nelson's T A C O M A sign on the pilings at Titlow Beach, and the Narrows Bridge - hugged by a giant Pacific octopus.
