Its intricate and dramatic architecture is rivalled only by its wondrous city plan.
The map-drawing centers on the Starometske in the Old Town and includes most of the city bridges over the Vltava River. A blush pink watercolor, applied carefully by hand, makes Prague's block pattern visible and the snaking river and islands. My architectural sketch of the view from the river up Castle Hill brings some of the gothic and baroque architecture for which Prague is known to this piece!
This is a PRINT of my original watercolor painting in tones of blush, with the sketch in black ink.
