Baltimore's got loads of history - some can be told neighborhood by neighborhood. Perhaps the names conjure familiar places, even stories of experiences and escapades that happen Only in Baltimore!
This Architectural Map-Drawing is an homage to Baltimore's oldest neighborhoods - plus the new Stadium Area - and the history etched into not only its built fabric, but its neighborhood residents and visitors. Baltimore was my "big city" growing up - I'm still fascinated by its charms and oddities.
Baltimore's downtown Neighborhoods are noted, in hand-drawn frames, over a faded 1877 Map of the City of Baltimore, framed by my Baltimore streetscape drawings of Abell Avenue, "The Block" and Fells Point.
