Explore the streets and riverbanks of Warsaw with your eyes. The gem of this dynamic street grid is located in the upper right, just on the left side of the Vistula River - Old Town. Bombed out during WW II, it was re-built, thanks to Polish national pride and lots of hard work. What an amazing historic preservation story! My architectural sketch of Castle Square invites you to walk into the city fabric.
This is a PRINT of my original watercolor painting. The greens with a bit of blue recall the weathered copper domes of Old Town. The sketch is black ink.
