With each block painted by hand, an original watercolor of Mount Vernon's city plan is just stunning on the wall of your office, business or home, or a wonderful wedding or anniversary gift to be treasured.
My hand-drawn and painted map centers on downtown Mount Vernon, extending north to Burlington and the intersection of I-5 and Highway 20, south to the Little Mountain Overlook. The eastern edge is occupied by the winding Skagit River - an interesting organic, sinuous line on contrast to the city grids to the west.
This is the ORIGINAL Watercolor Map-painting in variegated tones of yellow-green and olive on the river edges, with blues, yellow, ochre and salmon in a variety of tones concentrated within the city blocks. Each block watercolored by hand.
