OLYMPIC MOUNTAINS Washington Topographical Mountain Map: PRINT

The OLYMPIC Mountains reveal the pileup of shifting tectonic plates at the western coast of the US and create a massive "fortress" between the Pacific Ocean and the Puget Sound in Washington state.  

These gorgeous mountains offer a wilderness to reverence and explore as well as a weather break for the urban corridor on the eastern flank of the Sound.  The rainforest and epic coastline are protected by indigenous reserves and the Olympic National Park.  Look closely along the coastline for approximate markers of sea stacks and find names of several peaks within the range - just 94 of them!  I could not stop. ; )

[note: Peak names appear only on 16" x 20" and larger prints. Peaks are not labelled on smaller prints.]

This is a PRINT of my original hand-drawn topo drawing, tinted dark blue, with the Olympic National Park delineated in sage green and Peaks named in small rust-colored text.  Two hand-drawn views complement the Map - a view of the Olympic form the Sound and a view of the peaks and ridges from within the Range, near Hurricane Ridge.
