PORTLAND, Oregon.
Lush gardens and Grey skies, Big industry and Small handcraft, Idiosyncratic and Independent, Entrepreneurs on every corner, Bikes on every block, Books and Boots. I love this city! You, too? Awesome.
The map-drawing centers on the Willamette River, including Portland's city center and business district, the "Heights" to the west and Washington Park. The neighborhoods of East Portland, Hollywood, Ladd's Addition, Irvington, Alberta Street and Northeast Portland, among others fill the other half of the canvas. Portland has so many great street grids, rigid patterns of flat land development and sinuous streets within the hilly terraces! The rail lines permeate the city, especially along the industrial river. The Willamette River is a light grey, criss-crossed by so many bridges.
This is a PRINT of my original black ink line drawing, with varying tones of black modulated to highlight the river, parks and rail lines.

8" x 10", 11" x 14" and 16" x 20" are the best print sizes to purchase if you'd like to find a frame "off the shelf" instead of custom framing. Prints have a border so no mat is required - just pop it in the frame of the same size and hang!
If you'd prefer a square print, just purchase the size that matches the width you'd like, leave a note at checkout to make it square and I will make it square! If my print widths available in menu do not match your preference, send me a note with an alternate size. I can print from 5" x 5" to 17" x 17" - Thanks!
