Celebrate the vibrant and peculiar Neighborhoods of SEATTLE, Washington with this colorful hand-painted Art Map!
The map-drawing includes the city, from Gatewood on the southeast and Seward Park on the southeast up to the city line at 145th Street on the north. Seattle appears as an island, centered, with the ferry lines on the west and the edges of Mercer Island and Bellevue on the east. Neighborhood names are subtle - but legible - in white text with black shadow outline.
This is a PRINT of my original watercolor painting in variegated tones of blue, green, yellow, orange, pink, purple and brown organized by neighborhood boundaries. Each block watercolored by hand.
