The MOUNTAINS Collection, and this piece, is an exploration of brush + line, using the metaphorical form of MOUNTAIN to see how the marks of paintbrush and pen or pencil, with their contrasting textures, can work together to model the tactile surfaces of land.
Dashes and darts in salmon and brown and black watercolor and scattered fields of parallel black ink line texturize this Alpian landscape of peaks and ridges and hills. Colors play intentionally. Enter in!
