This is a PRINT of my hand-drawn TREES Map of the Island - Also featured are the bathymetric lines of the Sound, neighboring shorelines, the ferry lines to Tahlequah, Fauntleroy and Southworth. My sketch of the Chetzemoka and that incredible of Mount Rainier/TAHOMA beyond, while crossing the Dalco Passage, complement the Map.
I admit, I am biased in my view of Vashon. I see it daily from my studio window in Tacoma and from frequent Point Defiance beach walks and plunges. I see a lot of trees! And I feel like I'm in a dense forest as I visit, particularly the south end. And I love that ferry ride view of Tahoma - too short a trip!
